Spitfire Travel was formed in 2007 to build on over 20 years experience in the field of coach and package holidays. In 2010 Spitfire Travel Shefford Limited, company registration number 7363365 was formed in order to become a member of The Global Travel Group Membership No M093X. Joining TGTG allows Spitfire Travel to retain its independence but offer a more competitive service.
We can offer you a full competitive service, be it the hotel room for an over-night stay, the family holiday, honeymoon or group travel….
We can also offer products from over 100,000 hotels and villas, 300 airlines as well as all the UK’s leading tour operators such as Thomson, Royal Caribbean, Shearings, Kuoni to name but a few.
We are not restricted to one operator as are many High Street Travel agents, which are owned by the big tour operators. We can book you the holiday you choose or tailor make a holiday just for you. So wherever you want to go, or whatever you want to do Spitfire Travel can do it for you.

As a member of TGTG every holiday we offer has the ATOL protection. ATOL is a government scheme which is designed to cover costs and make arrangements to return travellers in the event an airline or tour operator ceases to trade. Many airline tickets booked online are not protected by the ATOL agreement and therefore Spitfire Travel offers Airline Failure Insurance with a flight only booking. This is especially important in the present world economic climate.

As you can imagine I have travelled extensively around the UK and Europe, which makes me the ideal person to find you that amazing city break or European Holiday. I specialise in Europe, UK, Australasia and Tailor-Made Holidays. That said, it does not limit what I will be able to assist you with. You can rest assured that I will drive a fabulous bargain for you!
With over 15 years travel experience and over 10 cruises under my belt, I am a huge fan of cruising! I have also been on Safari in Africa, China, Japan and South East Asia. I specialise in Cruising, Safari, Luxury and Rail Holidays. That said, it does not limit what I will be able to assist you with. Being a retired maths teacher, you can be sure that I will get the figures just right for you!
I have been in travel for over 10 years. I have travelled to a few places in the world including Australia, also been on a River cruise. My speciality destination is Turkey which I have visited for over 20 years. That said, it does not limit what I will be able to assist you with. To keep up to date with new travel regulations lot of spare time is spent doing online training and visiting training events.
I have been involved in Travel since the age of 13, originally with Exchange Travel and since have spent 36 more years working in both retail travel and tour operations. My main specialities are Malta, Disabled Holidays in UK and Europe, Medical Repatriation, Coach Holidays, Cruises, Club and Group Travel. I have first hand experience travelling with a disability as I am registered disabled.
